• We want young people to enjoy the time they spend in our accommodation. It’s important that they feel comfortable, safe and secure. We aim to make sure that the accommodation we provide is of high quality, well maintained and meets fire regulations and health and safety standards.

key working life, social and self care skills

• We create programmes that are tailored to the young person's needs offering clear, short-term targets and enabling success to be easily recognised and celebrated. We offer one-to-one sessions designed to build emotional resilience, improve motivation, support life-long learning, teach independent living skills and improve communication skills.


• We delivery Level 1 & 2 accredited one-to-one key working in functional skills (i.e. English, Maths and ICT), employability skills, volunteering, personal and social development and Arts Awards.


• We also offer specialist key working sessions in understanding emotions and feelings, promoting positive relationships, managing negative thoughts, promoting balanced thinking and developing problem solving skills.

consultancy & training

Young Futures has a track record in supporting organisations in their bidding for local government contracts in supported housing and floating support for young people, youth offer and youth offending services. Please note consultancy and training services are only available to organisations outside of London and include:

• Performance management - developing and implementing project-relevant performance management systems and tools that track and deliver better outcomes for young people.


• Key working training – development of management and staff in the use of innovative methods, tools and techniques.


• Development of policies and procedures – reviewing existing policies, drafting new procedures, training staff in best practice.
  


• Tender support – appraising new contracting opportunities, drafting method statements, pricing services, training staff, project management.
