about us

what we do
  • Young Futures is a preferred provider for the delivery of supported housing and floating support services to care leavers with Lewisham, Southwark and Solihull Children's Services. In a recent comprehensive review of our services undertaken by Lewisham (which included outcomes achieved, dealing with incidents, management systems, tools and techniques, thoughts and feelings of our young people and social workers) we scored an unprecedented ‘outstanding and exemplary' on every indicator.

  • We provide high quality, holistic and individually tailored one-to-one support for young care leavers between the ages of 16 and 21.

  • Our core objectives are to: raise young people’s confidence and build self esteem and resilience; ensure they have the necessary self-care, life and social skills for independence; ensure that each young person gains a minimum level and range of skills providing a sound foundation for life-long learning and employment and reduce the number of young people not in education, employment or training (NEET).

  • The core support tools and programmes we use are based on accredited life and social skills programmes/qualifications, Foundation Learning, Motivational Interviewing techniques and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy practice tasks.

  • Young Futures shares its expertise, methods and tools through partnerships, consultancy and training.
